Why Hire a Personal Trainer?

Everyone needs a Personal Trainer at one time or another, even seasoned athletes!

  • A Personal Trainer offers years of training and experience, coupled with a strong understanding of anatomy and movement, to help you on your way.

  • A Personal Trainer can help you formulate clear, attainable goals for you to work toward. As well, a Personal Trainer can help you recognize and shift self-destructive habits that may keep you locked into your current state of unwellness (too stressed, too heavy, too breathless to make it up that next hill!).

  • A Personal Trainer can also make you feel comfortable in the gym. As well, we create an individual, targeted workout regime to help you attain your goals, and offer variety and flexibility in your workouts.

We will also supervise you in your training, to ensure your posture, form and exercise execution is done properly. And of course, we motivate you to do your very best!

How Do I Choose a Personal Trainer?

Nothing says 'healthy' better than a well-toned, fit body. When you're feeling strong and healthy, your energy is high, your step is sure and you ooze confidence and grace!

Whatever your goals and vision, choosing the right trainer for you requires some responsibility on your part. Before you pay your hard-earned money to the first trainer that comes along, ask yourself (and them) a few key questions.

  • Are they provincially certified?
  • How long have they been in the fitness field?
  • Do they have references or testimonials?
  • Are they knowledgeable and up on the latest fitness trends, and will they incorporate any of these tools/practices into your program?
  • Do they work with other practitioners or local businesses, and how?
  • Do they speak positively about other clients/trainers/practitioners?
  • Do they have a positive and inspiring outlook on life?
  • Are they committed to their own physical health?
  • Are they committed to their own emotional and spiritual health?
  • Do they know about nutrition, and are they certified in this area?
  • Do they look fit and healthy? Do they live the healthy, fit lifestyle you wish to attain? (Perhaps the most important point of all!)

Your money is hard-earned, your time is precious and your body is sacred. Make sure you are getting the most professional, well-rounded trainer that you deserve.
